As part of our current mission to improve the look and feel of Tornleo, we have completed a full overhaul of the Player Profile pages. Players now get a much sexier view of their chess life all on one page.
Summary Page
The summary gives you an overview of everything with the ability to click most elements for more details.
To add your country flag to the page, you’ll notice a new Country field when you are editing your profile. The header colour can also be customized.
Multiple ratings can be displayed for each player. Both Tornelo Ratings and External Profile ratings. Include platform ratings as well as your National and FIDE Ratings. Tornelo currently only offers a single internal rating system, but in future will be able to offer Glicko, ELO and users will be able to create their own rating systems and have them automatically updated by events run on Tornelo.
Rating history is displayed in a graph with all rating systems being managed by Tornelo included.
External IDs
This shows your FIDE (International), National and Online platform ratings. Currently the Online platform ratings are updated only when a user adds the link.
Trophies
You can see both a summary of Trophies awarded in Tornelo events and the full timeline of all your trophy awards.
Statistics
Coming soon to complete the player profile page…. please let us know if you have any particular statistics you’d like to see here!
Events
A table with a results summary of every event for which the Player has an entry. You can filter, sort, search, download and modify your visible columns. Click on any event to visit the Event page and see more details.
Edit or Roles
If you have permission, you can edit the information by clicking the button in the top-right corner of the page. You can also give access to other users by adding their email address in the Roles modal.
Users with access can update personal details, play online games and see private information. They can also remove roles.
Working on
- New Lobby design and better user experience
- Add Keizer pairing system
As always, we’re keen to hear your feedback. How can we make your life as a chess tournament organiser, arbiter or TD, easier!
Kind regards,
