We are thrilled to introduce a significant new feature on Tornelo: the Shop. Now, all organisations on Tornelo can set up a small e-commerce store to sell their merchandise to their community of players. The Shop is simple and basic, allowing you to keep everything in one place without the need for a complicated setup. This new feature will make it easier for you to manage and sell your products directly to your audience, be it chess sets, books, t-shirsts, online lessons or membership fees.

How to set it up?
Tornelo Shop might not have as many features as Shopify or BigCommerce giants but it is already available on your Tornelo Organization page and you may turn it on with 1 simple step!
Go to your Organization page and click Setup Shop!
After selecting the preferred payment option (your Stripe or Paypal account) and the Shipping option you may click Create Shop!
The available Shipping options are:
- Fixed price – if you want to ship your products
- Pickup – if players can pick-up your products at your OTB tournaments
- Free delivery – if you have digital products or deliver for free
Then it’s time to add your own fantastic products! Each item can have:
- Name
- Price
- Image (optional)
- Description (optional)
The items immidiately appear in your new store. While hovering over the image, your customers may reveal the short description you’ve chosen.
How to shop?
Everyone who ever shopped online can do it! Just the product and click Add to cart! The Cart content will display your items on the right-hand-side together with the Total price.
Once you are happy, click Checkout!
This will take you to a familiar wizard, where you can in a few steps:
- Review your order
- Enter customer information
- Include Shipping information if required
- Submit payment
And that’s it! The order confirmation will land in your Inbox, easy-peasy.
How to manage Shop?
The tool panel allows you to:
- Update Shop settings (Payment and Delivery)
- Edit existing items
- Add new items
- Archive old items
- Manage orders
The View Orders button will take you to the list of all orders from your customers. You may view them, filter them, search them, edit them and update them.
All information about your customers and the ordered items can be found in the well organized expandable table.
