You may register for a teams events either as a group organiser (eg. a teacher) or as an individual user (eg. a parent). This is usually about who pays the entry fees - if individuals are paying then they should follow this process.

As a school teacher

To enter a team event, your Tornelo account must be authorised as a group organiser for your school group.

If you are not an authorised organiser yet, please email your rating system owner and request manual authorisation or creation of your group.

If you are already a group organiser, please follow these steps:

1. Navigate to the Event Page
2. The event page displays information such as date, time, entry fee and venue.  Click venue to see a map.

3. To enter, Click the grey Manage Teams button.

4. Enter your email/password and Sign In (click Reset Password if you forgot your password)

If you are not an authorised Group Official then you will get the following message:

If you are not an authorised organiser yet, please email your rating system owner and request manual authorisation or creation of your group.


6. If you manage multiple teams you will see them each under a different Tab at the top of the page

7. You may wish to reserve places, then come back later to enter names.  Simply enter the estimated number of places in the top field and you can come back later to enter the player names.

8. Name each team (A and B by default) and choose a division (if applicable) from the drop down menu.  You may have more than one team.
Each team has a maximum size of 14 players

9. Information in the group entry form is saved in real time.  There is no save button

10. You can return to the entry form any time via the “Manage teams" button. When ready, you can enter the player names one by one in the reserved fields.

11. If the event is being played ONLINE please ensure you enter the Email address of the player. This email must be the same as the email they will use to login and play their games online.

12. As you type, names of players in your group will be suggested.  Click on the player name to select them. If you enter a player that has not played before, click on “Create new player named...”. 

This will pop up a player details card. Gender and year of birth are optional fields.

13. When you have added all of your players, the information is again saved in real time
